We have had the best early season fishing that anyone can remember! Water levels are perfect although they look like mid-summer flows. The mornings have been starting out with female Trico hatches early, then depending on the wind (or lack there of), by 8:00 we have been seeing good Caddis migrations start upstream and the fish feeding like mad. We are getting good PMD's around 10:30 or so, as well as Yellow Sallies (Little Yellow stones). We are still having decent Beatis hatches around mid-day. The rest of the afternoon is all Caddis except for a few Beatis spinners mid afternoon. I think that the next weeks should be unbelievable! We are quite booked for this season, but still have openings in '08. Now is the time to call and get your dates set for next season, if you have not already done so. Lisa and I are loving our new position here and we look forward to seeing you here on the ranch!
