The Virginias are fishing very well still, it seems that the anglers who are fishing from kayaks or tubes are doing the best but the shore anglers are still managing to pull some fish with bait and some lures. Mornings and evenings are the best with lures and bait / flies are doing well throughout the day if you can get away from the shore. Powerbait, mice tails, pinched crawlers and night crawlers are all doing well, lure anglers are using kastmasters, thomas bouyants and mini jigs. Fly anglers are using seal buggers, matukas, simi seal leeches, soft hackles, beetles and ants.
