Strong fishing followed plants by the DFG and Alpers with plenty of full stringers seen at the fish cleaning station. Salmon eggs were hard to beat on the South Fork and was by far the most productive bait. Yellow panther martins, natural or pink powerworms and pumpkinseed trout traps tipped with nightcrawler are also good bets. Word that the creek flows will be slightly decreased this coming week should make those bigger fish even easier to spot in the slower moving pools.
