Ginger Buzzard checked in with a report for Topaz Lake. It was a pretty good week for fishing. We had 5 tagged fish brought in this week and so far 172 fish over 2lbs for the year. 

Our winners were Jeremy Ritter of Gardnerville Nv with a 6lb 7oz 23in took 2nd place and our 1st place was Danney Wallis of Wellington with a 7lb 9oz 26 ½. All the fish turned is are nice and healthy. Mostly shore fishing is still better then on a boat and all of the lake has done pretty well. Power bait is still the bait of choice and worms are doing well too. I haven’t heard much on lure fishing.
