Both rivers are running high, the east fork is a little muddy from the snow run off while the west fork has a slight tint to it. Greg Jennings from Fairoaks CA was fishing this week and caught a 2.0 and a 3/4 pound rainbow using a copper jon nymph. With the warmer temperatures the rivers will be running high for awhile. There are plenty of fish in both rivers you just have to get down to them. Power eggs are productive and will stay on your hook better than Powerbait in faster waters. For more information stop by the Carson River Resort.

Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to [email protected]. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
