Chetco River - OR

Forrest Harris of Brookings, Oregon knew right where to go when he had a hankering for fresh Chinook - the Chetco Bay.

Jeff West and a friend from Humboldt Bay caravanned up to Charleston Harbor in Coos Bay last week where they picked up several tuna up to 32 pounds.

Wes White earned big fish honors in the Rowdy Creek Fish Hatchery Steelhead Derby with this 36.5-inch steelhead. The two-day fishing tournament took place in late February on the Smith and Chetco Rivers. White was fishing with guide Zack Larson.
