No reports from South Lake this week. The lake continues to drop a few feet a week thanks to Los Angeles DWP denying Southern California Edison a variance on water allotments from the Bishop Creek Canyon. Instead, Los Angeles Department of Water & Power has chosen to drain the Bishop Creek Canyon reservoirs to the lowest summer levels on record making it impossible for us to stock fish or provide recreational opportunities at the lake this year.
South Lake Landing is closed for the season.
