For the most part the weather was quite nice for most of the week so quite a few folks were able to get out there and wet a line. Limits were common and as I expected, the big fish parade has continued with several fish in the 3 to 5lb class hitting the scales.

The Rock Slide and the Gilbert Glacier inlet were the two hot spots this week with the majority of the trophy fish being caught at one of those locations. All of the big fish this week were caught on Thomas Bouyants or Powerworms so be prepared. Aside from the fish that were landed, several more were hooked and even more sighted with a few folks reporting schools of 4 or more Alpers cruising around.

Limits were also reported from shore near the dam, especially earlier in the week following a big DFG stocking on Monday. No trolling reports this week but I have to think that the surface bite would be pretty good considering how excellent it was last week on Thomas Bouyants and Olive Wooly buggers.
