Fishing at Convict Lake was steady this past week with a fair amount of catches in the 4 to 5 lb range from all over the lake. John Stagnaro of Buena Park, Ca brought in the larges catch with a Rainbow that weighed in at 5 lb 4 oz. John was using nightcrawlers on the South Shore. We are starting to see some Rainbows coming in displaying spawining colors, some local experts say this can cause temporary slow down.
