The CDFG is scheduled to plant this week, and the county is planning a plant on Friday, though it’s not set in stone. They did plant after last season’s closure with nice 1–3 lb rainbows. The river is running well and fishing should be good. If you plan to stay or camp, call Carson River Resort ASAP—they fill up fast.
