East Carson River (CA) - Markleeville, CA (Alpine County)

Snow and rain didn’t keep avid anglers away today. Even with Ebbetts Pass closed since Friday morning due to weather conditions, anglers were still hiking in to reach some holes on the East Fork. Fishing was slow but productive, with worms and salmon eggs getting the bites.
