The pond is ready to roll! The water level is a little low but it’s ice free and the fish did well over the winter. For the first report we’ve received it sounds like leech patterns did very well for the first few hours of the day then our angler moved on to small nymphs and kept picking up fish. Around 11 or so they started hitting the surface quite a bit and seemed to be eating mayflies pretty good, the fish got a little picky during this time but were still on the bite pretty good.
