Steve Thornton shared a fishing report from Heenan Lake:

"We fished Heenan Lake last week (Thursday through Saturday) before the wind made it too difficult on Sunday. We had great success using a sinking line with a size 12 beaded prince nymph. Lahontan cutthroat trout are in the top 14 feet of water and respond well to movement on the fly. Brown bird's nest and copper johns under an indicator are also effective. Most catches were within 100 feet of the bank, with the best spots around the fish shack and near the weeds on the south side of the lake. Surface temperatures before the wind picked up were 51 degrees."

Thanks for the report, Steve!
