The flows on the West have come down quite a bit and are fluctuating between about 200 and 250cfs lately. We’ve started to get some decent reports from the Pickel Meadows area as well as through the canyon along Highway 395. Spin fisherman are having some success with Panther Martins and Roostertails, bait anglers are getting into some fish with eggs and crawlers. We haven’t heard much from the fly anglers yet but as the flows decrease the hopper/dropper fishing should get good and you could also use some attractor dries like Royal Wulffs and Humpy’s as well as some nymphs like copper Johns and pheasant tails.
