The bite is in full swing as big rainbows, browns and cutthroat are chewing strong!
Yesterday's clients wanted to get out in the afternoon/evening, which is always much less traffic than the morning and usually a solid bite...but there's always a chance of that Crowley wind. Soon as we got set, we got into fish, and big fish. Quickly bringing in several large, acrobatic, line peeling wild bows and missing some other chances. What looked like could turn into an evening of phenomenal fishing was quickly blown away by the big W, forcing us to hiedout in Crooked Creek - where we saw a lot of fish but never got one to connect. Also, lake level is about as high as it gets right now (see last pic).
Mornings have been a solid bet and afternoons great when Ol' Wendy lays down! We have open dates, get in touch to get out there!
