Conditions report for the Upper Owens and Hot Creek. The Upper Owens (1&2) is very high and muddy, and the road past the first pull out doesn’t look good. The road to the canyon at Hot Creek is still closed at the Ranch driveway (3). Hot Creek is pretty high and off colored due to run-off as well. It will probably be a few more weeks until the dirt roads dry enough to drive on them safely.
