The campground area is closed due to the Tamarack fire for the remainder of the season. Both roads are open for access. The fishing has been fair. The lake offers rainbow, brown, cutthroat trout as well as largemouth bass. Green or yellow powerbait is most productive. Inflated nightcrawlers with a little garlic powderbait also worked well. The lake does have a blue green algae warning. Do not allow pets to drink or swim in the lake. If you come in contact with the lake, rinse your hands in freshwater. Also rinse your catch in fresh water after cleaning them. Always best to be a little over cautious then not enough. For more information, stop by the Creekside Inn.
Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to [email protected]. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
