Today was one of those days!! We started out hunting big fish and lost a decent one behind the boat (probably 9 pounds). Next bite was a 10 pounder (released). Not another 15 minutes and rod goes down again (12 pounder)! Then we went for vittles and quickly got 3 small ones (one for me too).
Then at 9:30, we went after a big fish again.
 
About 10:30 am, still flat calm water conditions, shallow rod down, I crank a couple times and see a fish fly out of the water!! German Brown! We got it in the net and as I was unhooking it, he freaking hopped out and away he went hahaha ! That's the 2nd time I've done that!!! Nice fish, probably 6 pounds. Client captured the fish in the net photo....
