TAYLOR CREEK, UPPER TRUCKEE RIVER, TROUT CREEK: All located on the South end of Lake Tahoe are closed to fishing until the 2022 season.

for Friday, November 5th, 2021Lake Tahoe: Mackinaw are in full spawn mode
Caples Lake: The ice should be starting to form within the next month
Blue Lake Lower: The road is closed at the 1st gate
Burnside Lake: Burnside Road Update
Red Lake: The lake has started to get a little ice around the edges
Woods Lake: Closed for the season
Indian Creek Reservoir: Road Scheduled to open Nov. 30th
West Carson River (CA): The water was running low but the fishing is still active
East Carson River (CA): The river has cleared up after the rains we had last week
Heenan Lake : The lake will remain open until November 30th

Bridgeport Reservoir: The lake level is still down, but has come up a few feet

Red Lake: Fishing has been very slow
Woods Lake: Closed for the year
Blue Lake Lower: The lake is closed for the season
Burnside Lake: Road scheduled to close any day
West Carson River (CA): The river is up a little and the flows are moving
East Carson River (CA): The river is running good and the fishing has been very good
Indian Creek Reservoir: The entire area is still closed by BLM due to the Tamarack Wildfire
Heenan Lake : Check with Cal/Trans before heading to Heenan

Bridgeport Reservoir: The lake level is down
