With South Lake spilling, the flows on the South Fork are way up making some holes a little tough to fish. The fish are still there in big numbers but folks are having to look a little harder for fishable pools. Salmon eggs and crickets have been producing best. The skeeters are out in force right now so the fly guys have been doing well on anything that looks like a mosquito.

South Fork Bishop Creek Fish Report
Bishop CreekThe Bishop Creek Canyon was evacuated over the weekend due to a brush fire in the lower reaches of the canyon. The fire did not damage any of the resorts or homes in the canyon but it did burn all the way down to the road near Big Trees Campground which is why they chose to evacuate the canyon.
