April has finally arrived and that means the general season opener is just around the corner. Fishermen are rejoicing this year as the opener will not be delayed and will go on as scheduled on April 24th. While the lack of fishing pressure for the month of May last season turned out a tremendous amount of fish for us last June, the warmer weather this year should give us just as good, if not better fishing this month even without the delayed opening.
