Pyramid Lake is now open. Permits are only available online or at the kiosks at the ranger station. They are $24 per day. The best fishing currently is Popcorn Rock, Cattleguard, Pelican Point, Warrior Point and other areas on the west side of the Lake. Anglers are doing well stripping flies in the morning and then switching to an indicator with a white or black balanced leech, or a big blue and white chironomid. Fishing on the rougher days is better than the clear days at Pyramid Lake. Please be mindful of COVID 19 restrictions if you are fishing or camping here.
