The campground is closed and overnight camping is prohibited any where in the area. The water level is up and the fishing has been fair but spotty. The Alpine County Sheriffs Dept has been patrolling the area to make sure no one is breaking the rules. Now even though the algae has subsided, do not let your pets swim or drink from the lake.It is still not safe. Clean and rinse your fish before you freeze them.
Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to [email protected]. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
