Current Conditions
Convict Lake Resort experienced mostly cloudy conditions mixed with snow and rain predominantly from the west last month. Mammoth Mountain got a whopping 29” of snow in May leaving the spring snow bunnies with a longer season to shred. Here at Convict Lake Resort, we enjoyed a couple inches of snow for the month, but nothing that stuck. As we head into June, expect mostly sunny skies over 70% of the month. A few rain showers are possible, but the temperatures each day will be in the mid 70’s.
Marina
Head on down to the lake and enjoy a day of exploring the Eastern Sierra. Put on some hiking shoes and go for a short walk around the lake, or take one of our new deluxe pontoons out on the crystal clear water. Convict Lake is known far and wide as one of the best trout fishing lakes in the Eastern Sierra because of its very cold water from snow run-off, and the extreme depth carved out by a glacier. The Resort has a magnificent marina offering a vast arraignment from deluxe pontoons, motor boats, kayaks, and paddle boards for rent. Come on down and enjoy it all!
It's Derby Time!
ROUND-UP AT THE LAKE DERBY ends June 16th. Catch one 14 inch or longer fish and get into the drawing of $6000 of prizes. The entry fee is just $15. Sign-up and you are automatically entered into the Hangman's Derby the weekend of June 1st-3rd. There will be 12 tagged fish with dollar amounts. Don't miss out on a chance to win the big bucks!
