The Virginias are kicking out some really nice fish with at least 2 fish breaking the 10 pound mark this week! The Bridgeport Fish Enhancement Foundation planted around 1000 pounds of 4 to 11 pound rainbows in Big and Little Virginia as well as Bridgeport Reservoir and there were a couple of the huge ones caught on both Big and Little Virginia! Fly anglers are using small streamer patterns up there like seal buggers, Twin Lakes Specials and matukas with soft hackle and zug bug droppers. Bait anglers are going with pinched crawlers, powerbait, night crawlers and mice tails. Lure anglers are using thomas bouyants, panther martins and kastmasters.
