Creek fishing was strong mid week but slowed down some over the weekend. The morning and even bite remain solid but there wasn't much going on during the late morning and early afternoon. Salmon Eggs, Crawlers, Powerbait and Mini Jigs are still the hot ticket in the South Fork.
Also, please note that Adopt-A-Creek has partnered with the Piute Palace Casino and will be stocking Alpers with bright orange tags worth $25-$100 in casino credits. Five of these tagged fish will be put in the creeks, North Lake & Intake II each week!

South LakeThere were a lot of big fishing coming out of South Lake this week but quantity was down from the previous week. It looks like the warm weather has driven a lot of the fish deeper and a few anglers trolling 4-5 colors of lead core found great action on the smaller fish.
