The East is still running at about 800 cfs right now and it probably won’t go down much anytime soon, there’s a lot of water coming off the mountain right now so the river will probably stay pretty high for the next few weeks. There has been a few anglers throwing some lures and streamers down there but with limited success. You’ll need to use quite a bit of weight to get your lures/streamers down to the bottom where the fish are hanging out. Heavy tippets (2X and 3X) are in order when the flows are this high. Be careful wading as the current is very strong.
