The bait guys did pretty good over the opening weekend in most of the normal locations. The best area was over in McGee, around the bathroom, and between the bathroom and the 395 shoreline. Alligator Point, and Sometimes Bay kicked out some nice numbers as well. Short 12 to 18 inch, 2 lb test leaders seemed to catch most of the fish. Yellow, and Rainbow Power batits, along with Gulp Chunky Cheese, or the standard inflated crawler for baits.
