Rock Creek Lake thawed on May 9 and the road to Mosquito Flat opened on the tenth. Snow is patchy all the way to Heart Lake, and Mack Lake has already thawed. Rumor is that a 2+-pounder has been pulled from Rock Creek Lake by an unknown angler.
