It's official folks - the spring runoff has begun! The weather has been fantastic all week and the forecast for next week is even better. The inlet to South Lake is absolutely raging right now and the lake has come up at least 6ft this week, most of that in the last 2 days. The water clarity at the lake is improving by the day and not surprisingly, so is the fishing.

The bite on the browns especially has been good on Thomas Bouyants and Rapala CD-1 or CD-3's. White mini-jigs are the ticket for Rainbows and the average size is around a pound. Fishing is still on the slow side overall but conditions are improving fast.
