I think Winter is officially over. Ended up with right around average snowfall for the season. Good news for the Truckee River, now, and into next Fall.

Fishing is heating up. Spring is great time to be on the Truckee River. 

Seeing skwala stones, some early caddis, blue wings, and waiting on the march browns. Nymph with the above. You may get lucky and get a good march brown hatch here shortly. That's fun. 

Streamer fishing is good in the Spring, especially if the water comes up. It will..

If she gets going, fish bigger flies, streamers, nymphs, etc. It'll get in the 60's this week, so that should get some snow melting. 

Also, most importantly, our access is being threatened here in Hirschdale. Please check out our non profit we started. Dontae and join if you can. Fill out the incident report from if you've been harassed here. New signage was illegally put in today by landowners to stop your access here. We need to build our war chest.
